About Mariah

For over 10 years, I've been dedicated to nurturing children's development. My passion stems from witnessing their growth firsthand and creating a positive impact on their lives. I received my Associates degree from Kingsborough Community College and I'm one semester away from completing my bachelor's degree. I also have First Aid Training, and Early Childhood Education (ECE) experience. I'm experienced with special needs children as well, I currently work as a paraprofessional for the DOE (4 years) and ABA therapist. My approach is friendly and imaginative, and I enjoy engaging kids with outdoor games, board games, and educational activities. I can comfortably care for two children aged 1-11. I follow parents' lead on household rules and communicate through their preferred method, whether verbally or via text. I also love incorporating crafts into playtime. I am comfortable with pets. Knowing I can make a difference in a child's day brings me immense joy.
