About Mariah

I want to be a sitter because I genuinely enjoy working with children and being a positive, supportive presence in their lives. I like helping kids learn, grow, and have fun in a safe environment, and I find it rewarding to build trust with both children and their families. I have experience caring for children through babysitting and working in roles such as a camp counselor, where I supervised groups of kids, planned activities, and ensured their safety. Through these experiences, I've learned how to handle different personalities, manage behavior calmly, and keep children engaged. I have strong skills in communication, patience, responsibility, and problem-solving. I'm able to stay organized, follow routines, and respond quickly in situations when needed. In terms of training, I am knowledgeable about basic child safety and care, and I am committed to creating a safe, respectful, and fun environment for children at all times.
