About Mariah

Pre-pandemic, I worked for 4 years as a nanny and residential manager for a family with 2 pre-teens/teenagers and 2 dogs. Some of my responsibilities included child care, pet care, errands, shopping, cooking, cleaning, organizing, scheduling, researching, managing the family calendar (healthcare appointments/ extracurriculars), decorating, shuttling the kids around, etc. I'm game to take on a broad variety of tasks/projects and strive to be a dependable and versatile helper. I'm calm, loving, honest, and hard-working. Some past-times I enjoy are, listening to audio-books, exploring the outdoors, and thrifting. I enjoy working as an nanny/assistant b/c caring for others feels extremely rewarding and cleaning/curating/planning satisfies my task-oriented brain. I appreciated the opportunities for creative problem solving and the learning of new skills that were frequently presented with my last job. I'd be delighted to care for children of all ages.
