About Mariah

Hello! My name is Mariah, and I bring nearly two decades of experience caring for and educating children from infancy through high school. My background includes roles as a nanny, daycare provider, paraprofessional, and K-2 classroom teacher. I currently serve as a private nanny for a wonderful family with two school-age boys. My previous roles have given me extensive experience across all age groups, and I am eager to return to caring for younger children as my current position concludes. I hold a Master's degree in Public History and a Bachelor's degree in Cultural Anthropology. My husband and I-he is the school counselor at Barton Community Graded School, and we both hold advanced degrees in education-have happily called Vermont home for the past five years. I am CPR and First Aid certified, and I am deeply passionate about creating nurturing, educational environments where children can thrive.
