About Mariah

I have a Master's degree in Child Life. I have years of experience supporting children in home, school, hospital, and community settings. I spent several years as a preschool teacher and most recently managed an In-Home Supports Program, helping children with disabilities access resources and support at home and in their communities. My background also includes behavioral therapy, play therapy, and trauma-informed care. I take a patient, compassionate approach to caregiving and love creating fun, nurturing environments where children feel safe and supported. I'm happy to help with daily routines, meal prep, personal care, homework, and play-based activities. Outside of caregiving, I love baking, spending time outdoors, and spoiling my two cats! Living with Type 1 diabetes has also deepened understanding of people with unique needs. I love getting to know each child's unique personality and finding little ways to make their days fun, meaningful, and full of learning.
