Hi, I'm Mariah! I've grown up helping with siblings and kids of all ages, so being patient, explaining things clearly, and keeping kids on track has always come naturally to me. I'm currently in nursing school, so I'm super organized, good at breaking down information, and I know how to help with studying, homework, test prep, and staying focused. I'm comfortable tutoring most subjects, especially reading, writing, science, and anything that needs structure or step-by-step learning. I'm big on making school feel less stressful and more understandable, and I always match the child's pace so they don't feel overwhelmed. Between my experience working with kids, my background in teaching basic skills through babysitting and swim instruction, and everything I've learned in nursing school, I bring a mix of patience, consistency, and real-world study skills to every session.
