About Mariah

Most recently, I was employed as the Lead Coach for recreational and competitive adaptive gymnastics programs. In this position, I was given the opportunity to teach and support children with and without physical or intellectual disabilities or those experiencing additional adversity. While I do love teaching gymnastics, one of favorite things to teach is emotional regulation and emotional literacy. I've also worked as a counselor at multiple summer camp programs. My educational experience is extensive, having graduated high school early and received my Associates degree, majoring in education, at this time. I am currently working towards my Bachelors degree with a major in psychology with the goal of working with at risk youth. I believe my strengths are in patience and empathy. Nevertheless, I enjoy challenges and learning how to navigate situations in an appropriate, individualized way for each child.
