About Mariah

Hi! My name is Mariah, I'm 25 years old and located on the Upper West Side of Manhattan. I have been working with children since I was 15 years old and have always had a passion for childcare and education. I started as a camp counselor, worked at a daycare for 4 years, later returned to camp counseling, and now I am a kindergarten teacher at a charter school in Harlem. I love working with children of all ages and pride myself on creating a safe, fun, nurturing, and structured environment. Families would describe me as energetic, creative, patient, and dependable. As a teacher, I also have strong experience with routines, behavior management, homework help, and keeping children engaged through meaningful activities.
