About Mariah

I am a stay-at-home mother to a toddler who is looking for work that can allow me to still be with my child along with create community with other parents and build upon my skill sets and passions regarding childcare, education and advocacy. I am incredibly passionate about child development and I practice positive discipline & gentle parenting methods; encouraging autonomy and helping young children develop emotional regulation & education skills. I build structures & hold firm boundaries rather then inflict punishments and am well versed in studying the individuality of each child; figuring out their unique temperaments, learning styles, struggles and needs then adapting myself to them to support their growth and tend to their individual needs and individual developmental paces.
