About Mariah

Mariah cared for my brother who had a diagnosis of fronto-temporal dementia. She was compassionate, kind, respectful, highly skilled, engagingly playful and endlessly tolerant, even as my brother’s behaviors became quite challenging at times. She intuitively found creative ways to connect with him and to keep him connected with his life, both past and present, through his final two years. She was a true partner with me and the rest of our family, always staying in close contact and sharing the ups and downs as we negotiated the difficult realities of slowly losing a beloved family member to a dreadful illness. Mariah embraced our shared goal of keeping Bob at home, and was with us at the end, providing final weeks of total care and comfort as we gathered to say goodby. We are very grateful for our good fortune in finding such a remarkable person, and recommend her whole-heartedly for any position of providing care to others in need of personal care.
