About Mariah

Currently looking for the second half of my nanny share. Hello! I'm Mariah. I'm an environmental science and anthropology major finishing my degree. I'm currently a full-time time nanny to a sweet little girl (8 months) while also caring for my own daughter (2 years). I have 10+ years of nannying experience. I follow a loose Montessori and environmental learning style. I also follow a gentle parenting approach for behavioral development. My interest in caring for children comes from my love for my large family (6 younger siblings). I've carried that on by nannying for other families. Being able to have an influence on a child's life is rewarding. Children are so creative, curious, and intuitive. I try to encourage these attributes with age based learning/activities. I'm a frequent flyer at our local libraries, parks, and age appropriate theme days in our community. I hope to continue these activities with a new family. Thank you!
