About Mariah

Hello! I'm Mariah. I'm an environmental science and anthropology major finishing my degree. I'm currently a full-time time nanny to a sweet little boy (15 months) while also bringing my own daughter (20 months) along I have 10+ years of nannying experience. I follow a loose Montessori learning style. As well as an environmental learning style. I also follow a gentle parenting approach for behavioral development. My interest in caring for children comes from my love for my large family. I have 6 younger siblings ranging from 14-27. I've carried that on by nannying for other families. Being able to have an influence on a child's life is rewarding. Children are so creative, curious, and intuitive. I try to encourage these attributes with age based learning/activities. I'm a frequent flyer at our local libraries, parks, and age appropriate theme days in our community. I hope to continue these activities with a new family. Thank you!
