About Maria

Hello! My name is Maria and I recently moved to San Diego from the Bay Area. I'm a kind, active, and dependable caregiver who genuinely enjoys spending time with kids. I grew up helping care for my younger brother who has cerebral palsy. This has taught me patience, responsibility, and how to not only support children with different needs, but appreciate their unique personalities. I also coached swim for kids ages 6-14 for three summers, where I learned how to balance structure, encouragement, and fun! I love engaging kids through outdoor activities, crafts, reading, staying active, and videos games (if they're allowed). I'm currently in graduate school and job searching in HR, so I'm looking for a flexible position. However, when I'm with your child, they'll have my full attention. I care deeply, communicate clearly, and always aim to create a safe, positive environment where children feel supported and confident. Thanks for taking time to read about me!
