About Maria G

Hello! My name is Maria, and I'm a single mother, bilingual caregiver, and someone who believes that love, respect, and compassion should be the foundation of how we raise and care for children. I have a bright, curious baby who has changed my life. Becoming a mother deepened my passion for caregiving and inspired me to build something rooted in love and purpose - a safe space where children feel at home while learning, exploring, and growing. That's why I decided to open a home daycare. I want to give children what I want for my own child: a place where they are cared for, kept safe, and supported as unique individuals - emotionally, socially, and developmentally. For the past five years, I've worked as a Direct Support Professional, assisting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. That work has shaped who I am and taught me how to provide individualized care, listen deeply, and meet each person where they are - with empathy, patience, and understanding.
