About Maria G

Hello! My name is Maria. I'm a single mother, a bilingual caregiver, and someone who believes deeply that love, respect, and compassion should be the foundation of how we raise and care for children. Becoming a mother to my bright and curious baby completely transformed my life. For the past five years, I've worked as a Direct Support Professional, supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. That work has shaped who I am. It taught me the importance of individualized care, how to truly listen, and how to meet people where they are-with patience, empathy, and understanding. I bring that same approach to working with children. My goal is to create a life where I can care for others while also being present for my own child. Which means my baby will come along with me to work. I believe children benefit from being in an environment where they see care, love, and respect modeled every day-and I'm committed to making that possible for all the families I serve
