I have worked in acute care hospitals with adults and expectant mothers, in elderly care homes, providing in-home care, and as a school nurse caring for children. Maria came to us like a beacon of light in a time of distress. Our father's benefit only provides 5 hours of care in the afternoon (which we are grateful for after 4 months of applying). I reached out to Maria a few weeks ago. From the beginning, she was prompt to get back to me with any questions I had. She asked to meet our father before starting, I found it a PLUS since most didn't even suggest meeting ahead of time, and would not show up or pick up our call after a meeting was set up! Maria has shown incentive and professionalism in tackling the situation. She goes above and beyond caring for Dad's physical and mental well-being. With her gentle and friendly ways, she is a joyful presence in his days, and such a fresh of breath air!!! From the family
