Maria was the most wonderful caretaker we could have asked for to look after my 98 year old grandmother. My grandma had dementia/ Alzheimer’s and needed lots of assistance including: lifting her in and out of wheelchair to bed, washing her, helping with pressure relief in bed, feeding her, cooking for her, and so much more. Most of all she treated my grandma with respect and served as a thoughtful and caring companion. She even cut and styled my grandma’s hair and kept her nails painted to make her feel beautiful. Maria spent over 2 years taking care of my grandma and continued to care for her during my grandma’s hospice. She even stayed up the whole night when my grandma passed to make sure someone was there with her when it happened. Maria went above and beyond in her job as caretaker and made a big difference in my grandma’s life to make ensure she was happy.
