About Maria

Hello, my name is Maria! I'm currently pursuing my Bachelor's Degree in Education and have spent the last two semesters student teaching, so I have strong experience supporting children's learning and development. I've babysat for year with a multitude of families and have experience from newborns through middle school. I am CPR/First Aid certified with extensive background checks from the state of Ohio and the Federal government thanks to my work in Child and Youth Services. I have spent multiple summers abroad working with military families through the Rocket Kids program sponsored by my university. One of those summers I served in a leadership role helping run activities for kids. In addition, I've worked with children through theme park entertainment and serve as an advisor for my former high school's Model UN team. I'm patient, creative, and love keeping kids engaged with fun activities while creating a safe environment. I look forward to meeting with your family!
