About Maria
Hello! Eight years ago, I came to the United States as an au pair, and that's when I realized how much I love teaching. I started college to become a teacher, and since 2020, I've been teaching preschool and then kindergarten. Now that my daughter is a baby, I decided to stay home with her to take care of her, but I enjoy being a Spanish tutor. I grew up in Colombia speaking Spanish, and I went to college there to become a veterinarian. Before coming to the US, I volunteered for a year at a kindergarten there to gain experience before changing my life to come here and honestly always great experiences teaching!
