My name is Maria, I'm 29 years old, and I am looking for a summer nanny position until I return to work at the end of August. I am currently working as a 3rd grade teacher and I have 2 years of experience. I have over 14 years of experience in child care and have been responsible for the care of children from newborns to 13 years old. I have also cared for children with special needs. In my 13 years of babysitting, I've pretty much seen and done it all so nothing surprises me! I am very attentive, responsible, and understanding of the various needs of children of all ages. I also love incorporating educational opportunities into playtime activities. I will do whatever I can to make sure I am your child's favorite babysitter! Aside from caring for the kids, I will also do light housekeeping, run errands, or provide transportation for the kids, all at the parent's request. There are not enough good things to say about Maria! On a working level, Maria was incredibly reliable and punctual. She even discussed potential class schedules she could take on in an effort to work around my schedule. We hired her to take care of our 1 year old daughter who had pretty bad stranger anxiety. Maria connected with her immediately and made her feel comfortable. The care that Maria gave was exceptional. On a personal level, Maria became part of our family. I felt at ease and comfortable having her in my home. She is very loving and connected and. The only reason Maria is no longer working for us is because we are relocating to Portland, Oregon. We love her so much that we offered for her to come with us, but she is a student and has commitments her in Michigan. If you are looking for a nanny, I couldn't recommend Maria more. You will feel comfortable and trusting when she is taking care of your children. They will love her, and so will you!
