About Maria Elina

I'm a mom, longtime university professor, attorney, and Ph. D. in Economics--but kids don't care about any of that, and I rather like that about them! I'm warm, energetic, patient, and genuinely enjoy spending time with children. I'm fully bilingual in English and Spanish and love reading, playing, talking, helping with homework, doing creative activities, and getting outside rather than relying on screens. As both a mother and educator, I understand that every child has a different personality and needs to feel safe, respected, and listened to. I'm responsible and dependable, but I also believe childhood should involve plenty of laughter, curiosity, and fun.
