For two decades, I've dedicated myself to nurturing young minds and supporting families. My passion lies in fostering children's growth, which began with positive babysitting experiences. I hold a college degree and early childhood development coursework. I am patient, creative, and friendly, and I enjoy playing outdoor games, board games, and educational activities.

I provide daily reports, communicate verbally at pickup, and respect your preferred method of communication. I am very comfortable enforcing household rules. I am comfortable caring for one child. I am happy to help with cooking, carpooling, light housekeeping, travel, and swimming supervision. I am certified in First Aid and CPR, and I have experience with special needs children. I speak English and Spanish, have a car, and am comfortable with pets. Knowing I can make a positive impact on a child's life brings me immense joy.

Maria went above and beyond in the care she provided when babysitting 4 kids. Not only did she have all the kids either asleep or ready for bed, but she also had cleaned up all our main living spaces. She was very caring and engaging with the kids too. I would hire her again in an instant!

I cannot recommend Maria E highly enough. She cared for my 7-year-old daughter throughout the last school year (2024-25). What a piece of luck! She is the nanny every parent hopes for. 
We had just moved to Santa Fe when Maria E started. My daughter was still adjusting to her new school, and I had a chaotic schedule at my new job. Maria E smoothed out a lot of the wrinkles during that crazy time by being exceptionally reliable, punctual, flexible, cheerful, and caring. 
My daughter is not typically described as easy to care for. I saw the extra effort Maria E put forth to connect with her, to find out what was fun and motivating to her. She wasn’t afraid to get silly, make a mess, or get wet. She even went sky high to do a ropes course with my girl!
Somehow, amid all that fun, Maria E always managed to safely get my daughter to school and activities on time, keep the house clean, and cook food my daughter would eat. Truly remarkable!
I particularly appreciated Maria E’s excellent communication skills. She always let me know what they were doing and where they were going, often sending me pictures of fun activities or projects. If any questions or concerns came up, she discussed them with me right away.  
Although my daughter is transitioning group-style aftercare, I would hire Maria E again in heartbeat, if the need arose. She not only became a friend to my daughter and me; she also became a part of our family.

Maria saved me. When all my moving help evaporated Maria arrived on short notice and saw that I was in great need. Not only did she stay for three hours to help me pack and organize, but offered to come the following day and do my complete move-out cleaning. She went above and beyond and even saved a nesting pigeon from my balcony. Wow, what a great person doing great work for a single mom in my family’s time of need! Thank you Maria, you are awesome!

Maria is a welcome addition to my home! She is thorough, organized, communicative, and has a great positive energy. I would recommend her to anyone.

Maria was the nanny for our daughter from when she was 3 months old to 1.5 years old. I have nothing but amazing things to say about her!! Our daughter was so bonded to Maria and she truly feels like a part of our family. Maria was very patient and kind with her and would always explain what they were doing and why. She approaches everyone (including our dog) with such love and kindness, radiates positivity, and is a joy to be around. She is also extremely hard working and was always helping out with housework while our daughter was napping which was a huge help for our family! We were really sad to see her go and we miss her so much. Whatever family hires her next will be truly so blessed!

Maria is a terrific housekeeper.  She is very reliable, trustworthy, and an all-around nice person.  Highly recommended!  

Maria is dependable, communicative, and really stepped in to assist walking my father’s dog. 

Maria is absolutely amazing! She is currently our part time nanny for our 16mo old son. Our hours are a little complicated and Maria has been extremely flexible. Our son loves her! She cooks meals for him (and extra for us). They spend a lot of time playing outside in our backyard or going to the park near by. She reads and sings to him, and has even helped in teaching him some sign language. Maria also has our house spotless every time we come home. She even helps with our dogs, feeding and cleaning up after them. We sometimes use cloth diapers and Maria has been better about sticking with it than we are! We've had other nannies before Maria and she is by far our favorite. We would definitely recommend Maria to any other family!

We only got to work with Maria for two weeks but she was wonderful. Punctual, helpful, and very experienced. We would definitely rehire her in the future!  Though we didn't ask her to, she took on additional responsibilities (washing the kids' dishes after snack/lunch and preparing food as needed), and it was very much appreciated.  She is kind and understanding in her approach and patient.

Maria was part of our family since we moved to Albuquerque, she took care of our busy toddler while we were working and also took care of our house. My home was spotless, she was very respectful of our belongings, always on time, never in a rush, very flexible. She sang songs, play, keep toys neat, minimal use of TV which is rare nowadays, we miss her so much since we moved.

Maria is very nice and helpful! She helped us with housecleaning as well as baby sitting with my 2 year old son.

It was a delight to interview Maria Elena.  We had very specific needs so we were unable to commit at the time. But I would not hesitate to hire her.  She is warm, friendly, and has a good record of jobs.  We certainly would keep her in mind for babysitting or Spanish conversation!

She was very neat and clean.  My cats were very well cared for.  She was very patient with my older cat that mostly hides.  She also kept in touch once in a while.
