About Maria Dirce

I started housekeeping in 1988. I have over 30 years of experience working with households primarily in Washington DC and Brazil. I worked for one family for more than 15 years, living with them abroad in Italy and South Africa. I speak Spanish, Portuguese, and some Italian. I am in good health and willing to travel. I am available to help with household cleaning, laundry and ironing, and general organizing. I prefer not to cook regularly, but am happy to help meal prep and cook occasionally. I'm comfortable supporting senior family members. I am allergic to cats, but am happy to help take care of other pets. I like caring for homes because I take pride in creating well organized, peaceful, and clean spaces for others to enjoy. I've developed close relationships with my employers as I'm reliable, friendly, and considerate. My pay rates vary depending on each household needs. My cleaning rates are usually between $30-$40 per hour.
