About Maria

I have 7 years experience tutoring children (K-12) in critical reading, writing, math, science, and SAT/ACT test prep. I graduated from Carnegie Mellon University with a B. S. in Biology. I have two years of graduate education in Neuroscience. I enjoy sharing my knowledge with others. My students and parents have been happy with their improvement in grades and test scores. I am most happy when a student's understanding improves. I have been fully vaccinated and I am virtually available for tutoring for all students. For in person tutoring, the student must be vaccinated or we must have our sessions outside. I am also a dog lover. I have had four German Shepherds simultaneously at one time in my life. So if you are going away and need a dog walker/sitter. I would be happy to help. I have raised a litter pups and I am comfortable giving senior dogs medication.
