About Maria

Hi, I'm Letty! About me: I'm a Film & Video student with a minor in Animation. I love arts & crafts, drawing, storytelling, imaginative play, and educational activities. Childcare: I've assisted my mom with her group family daycare program, which she has operated for nearly 30 years, giving me firsthand experience caring for and engaging with children. I also worked as a Program Assistant with MICA's Young People's Studio (YPS), supporting young students and activities. Youth experience: I've worked as a Residential Advisor, developing strong skills in supervision, communication, problem-solving, and creating safe, welcoming environments. I'm also comfortable caring for animals and family pets. I'm patient, attentive, and respectful of each family's routines and parenting style, and I want every child to feel safe, comfortable, and engaged.
