About Maria

My journey into childcare began with babysitting and blossomed into a genuine passion for working with kids. I'm currently taking classes to become a certified nurse and eventually work my way into the pediatric feild of healthcare. I've taken some early childhood development classes throughout college and feel they have taught me a lot about what young kids need and how to properly support them. I have two years of experience caring for children but have grown up helping raise my younger siblings and cousins. I'm patient, creative, and love engaging kids with outdoor games and crafts. I'm also very comfortable enforcing any household rules that you may have. I communicate with parents through verbal updates at pickup and regular texts or calls. I can help with cooking, carpooling, light housekeeping, travel needs, and swimming supervision. I also hold current certifications in CPR and First Aid.
