About Maria

Hello! My name is Maria, and I am currently a Lead Teacher in a classroom of 4-year-olds, where I manage a 10:1 ratio, implement daily lesson plans, establish routines and expectations. Before becoming a Lead Teacher, I worked as a floater in the same childcare center, spending full workdays caring for children in every classroom from infants through Pre-K. I earned my bachelor's degree in Sociology from Towson University. In addition to my professional experience, I've volunteered with children through my church in both the nursery and elementary classrooms, served as a middle school youth group leader, and volunteered as a Young Life leader, mentoring high school students. I am currently seeking a full-time nanny or childcare position as I transition from my current role. I have excellent references available and would be happy to provide them upon request.
