About Maria Clara

Hi! My name is Maria, and I am a student at Fordham University. I have been working as a babysitter since 2025, with experience caring for babies and toddlers up to 2 years old. I am also comfortable caring for children of different ages and I like getting to know each child's personality and needs. I am patient, responsible, and genuinely enjoy spending time with children. I like keeping them engaged through activities such as board games, puzzles, reading and playing together. I also value following each family's preferences and routines, including their communication style and household rules. I am comfortable around pets, as I have pets of my own! I am a native Portuguese speaker and would be happy to speak Portuguese with children if their families are interested in introducing them to a new language or giving them an opportunity to practice it.
