I have to first say, that she has always been an inspiration to me for her unconditional love and care for all children, but especially for those who are disadvantaged. She has actually been a great resourse for adults who have requested direction as well. She has tremendous follow through and is an excellent advocate for people placed in her care. She leaves no stone unturned. But above all she is non judgemental. If she is not required for assistance, she simply accepts people where they are coming from and the decisions they make. She does not see differences in age, nationality or intelligence. Maria loves people and new experiences. I think she sees life as a journey to be looked forward to, and has high levels of energy to engage in that journey. In all interactions Maria is professional, appropriate and courteous. I could go on with much more, but feel that it would only elaborate on what I have already said. I am not always happy to write a reference, but in this case I am. If I cannot write a good reference, I give it to the person asking and let them decide to use it or not.
