About Maria

Hi, I have had several years assisting and enjoying the opportunities of being a companion with seniors. I believe helping an individual to feel important and interesting is so important to their well being. I enjoy the sharing of life stories and events. Engaging one in the interests that they once enjoyed sharing with others. I feel it is important for each of us to feel good about ourselves. When the individual is mobile, I believe a breath of fresh air and the change of scenery, can help create, a renewed perspective, of where they are in life! When an individual is not mobile enough to go for a car ride or walk, I have thoroughly enjoyed the challenges of being creative to put a spark in their day! Every day doesn't necessarily need to be out and about, but does need to have interest and meaning to their days.
