About Maria

Unlocking a student's unique potential drives my passion for education. With two years of experience in Special Education, I focus on building confidence and fostering a genuine love for learning. I adapt my teaching methods--such as using visual aids or hands-on activities--by actively observing how you interact with new material. I believe in connecting challenging concepts to your personal interests to keep you engaged and motivated. Because I hold training in Individualized Education Programs (IEP), I am well-equipped to provide the personalized support necessary for your success. I prioritize open communication with both you and your family to ensure we are always working toward your goals. Witnessing your "aha!" moment when a difficult concept finally clicks is the most rewarding part of my work. I look forward to building a supportive partnership where we can learn and grow together.
