About Maria

My name is Maria, and I'm currently a nursing student with the goal of becoming a pediatric nurse. Caring for others has always been my calling, especially children, and I want to start gaining experience that aligns with the skills I'm learning in school while also supporting myself financially. Although I don't have formal paid experience yet, I've spent years caring for my little brother, who has Type 1 diabetes, which has taught me responsibility, patience, and how to stay calm under pressure. I've also taken care of multiple children during his playdates, and I've discovered how much I truly enjoy working with kids. Becoming a babysitter feels like the perfect way to continue growing in this passion while preparing for my future career in pediatric nursing. I have completed 2 years of college and I can cook, clean and do anything as needed including tutoring and homework help.
