About Maria

I like working with kids because of the presence, mindfulness, and joy that is required. My caregiving always begins and ends with respect and communication, the same way that I would interact with adults, except in a developmentally appropriate way. I've been working with kids since I was 15, paid both nanny gigs, and camp counselor. I've worked in schools, as a tutor, after school care, and as a nanny of infants. In my spare time, I like to write fiction and poetry, go dancing, cook, play board, games, and workout.
