About Maria

I was born in Mexico and moved to the US when I was a teenager (US citizen). I have three grown sons and one granddaughter. When my children left the house I did housecleaning for a few years and then transitioned to caring for elderly and children. I love playing make believe with kids and taking them to the park. I'm happy to help clean and cook as needed. I especially love teaching children to speak Spanish if that is something you are interested in. I'd describe my personality as kind, patient, flexible and happy to help! I like working with kids because it brings me joy to watch them learn and navigate the world around them. My children are grown and my granddaughter lives out of state. I'm so grateful to spend time with other families and develop close relationships with their kids.
