I can help with light housekeeping, laundry and driving children to activities. I have over 35 years of experience raising bilingual children from birth through adulthood. I'd be a great fit for newborn to school age children who need care. I am well versed in all ages, including my own granddaughter who was born February 2022.

Maria was an amazing nanny to my daughter. I was in the process of moving and had 3 weeks where I did not have a nanny. I am so grateful to have found Maria and I wish that I still lived in the area and that she could be my child's nanny forever! While primarily with my baby, Maria also clicked very well with my older girls (this is a true talent - I have found that many nannies are either good with babies or older kids, but Maria is GREAT with everyone). I shared her contact info with a local friend because I think anyone would be lucky to work with Maria.

We hired Maria to watch our 7 month old son for a week to help out while our regular nanny was traveling. Maria was very professional, and I especially appreciated her level of communication, but before the job and while she was caring for our son. She did a great job quickly figuring out how to integrate into our home and care for A, and would tidy up/wash bottles etc. while he napped. I felt totally comfortable with Maria watching A and would gladly hire her again.

I was visiting from New York for a wedding, and hired Maria to watch our one year old daughter while I was in the reception. It was my first experience using Care.com, and first time to hire a one-off baby sitter. Maria was very punctual, she was at the hotel lobby like we talked about. She was very natural in caring for a baby. I liked that she would text me and give me updates while I was at the wedding reception. She was very patient with J, who was fussy and not used to being with a baby sitter. She went for a walk with J and tried to give her a bottle. 

Maria was reliable. Although it was my first time to hire her, I felt I could trust her. I ended up having her for over six hours. I really appreciate her help. 

Maria cared for our infant and we  were so grateful to have a nanny that is reliable, prompt, communicative, and most importantly, provided loving care for our child. She also gave great tips and advice, when requested, for items/strategies that other parents have used that we might find helpful. Maria is highly experienced in infant care and genuinely loves being with children. We would recommend Maria to anyone that’s looking for a top notch nanny!

Maria filled in for us in between the gap when before our permanent hire, as she also had another permanent nanny position lined up.  It was perfect timing mutually.  

She's adaptable, punctual, and fantastic communicator.  Our son enjoyed our week with her playing, reading, and even introduced us to new parks and activities in our area.  She knows a lot of the todo's with kids and generally since she is a very long time resident.  

I would recommend Maria and would absolutely work with her again.

Maria was wonderful helping me out last minute for backup care when our nanny couldn't make it. She helped with my 2 under 2 and both babies liked her straight away. Maria has been babysitting our little one since he was 7 months old. She is great with infants, always keeping him busy and going for walks and spending time outside. One of my favorite videos of our son's first year is a video Maria took of him swinging at the park - he's so happy with her. She's reliable, trustworthy, and a great communicator - what else could you ask for in a sitter! We always look forward to having Maria babysit.

I had a hard time looking for the right nanny to take care of my 18m old daughter, until I found Maria. Maria was very dependable and punctual. She was easy to communicate with, quick to respond and was not afraid to ask questions. She took care of my daughter well - spent time playing toys with her and brought her out for a walk.
