About Maria

We had Maria as a nanny for our daughter for three years, until she started pre-K. The most important thing I can say about Maria is that she always put our daughter first, my daughter always felt safe and loved. When it came to daily responsibilities, Maria is never idle. She was always looking for ways to support or help our family, including our pets! Maria and my daughter went on a lot of outings: libraries, farms, zoos, bounce gyms, malls, movies, and more. She could keep her entertained on sunny days and rainy ones, hot days and snowy days. Maria help to set up my daughter's play spaces in the house (and kept them organized). She always made sure that with all the crafts and toys, there was also learning. Over the three years, she worked on counting, numbers, letters, shapes, etc., and started to teach her how to read. She read to my daughter all the time, and consequently my daughter loves books. She was more than prepared to start pre-K. The last thing I must mention is that Maria is a great cook and baker. She was able to keep my picky daughter fed, always trying new foods with her to expand our options when we made her meals. And when she baked, we all got to enjoy the perk! We ran out of time with Maria, with pre-K finally finally here. The next family to work with her is really getting a gem.
