Hi! My name is Dalia and I love to babysit kids of all ages! I am trustworthy and very attentive with the kids. Besides having personal experience with caring and raising my own three children I have been babysitting for families since I was 15. I work with children on a daily basis, and have worked at Montessori school as a Spanish teacher assistant and at a Preschool in Calistoga. I am Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED trained and certified. In addition I have an associates degree in Child development which has prepared me with skills of understanding of how to work with children. Maria is wonderful! She took our kids out everyday and went to the library or the park. She is prompt, responsible, organized, and loving. Our kids loved their time with her and she was a joy to work with.

We hired Maria for multiple days during our stay in the Napa area for our 11 month old son and she was more than amazing. She was professional, knew exactly how to play, take care of our son (who has attachment issues to me), and make us feel 100% comfortable every moment. She sent picture updates through out the day and was in communication with us whenever we needed it. I will hired her everytime I'm in the area! 

We hired Maria to watch our 6mo old for two nights when we came into Calistoga for a wedding. It was our first time leaving him in the care of someone we had never met before. Maria made us feel so at ease and comfortable from start to finish. She is a natural and very caring. She played with our son and got him down for bed sleeping soundly. She allowed us to enjoy our weekend knowing our baby was in great hands. Thank you thank you!!!

Dalia was absolutely wonderful with my 9 month old son. She stayed with him during a family wedding and he was so happy and well taken care of! I would absolutely have her watch my baby again! Thank you! 

Maria was an absolute pleasure! She was so polite, timely and made me feel so comfortable leaving my 9week old baby with her. She helped us all 3days we were up in the area, I will definitely call her again!

Maria and another nanny came to help my family and two other families for a total of 5 children while we were out at dinner in Santa Rosa. We had a great experience with Maria. She responded quickly to all communication, arrived on time, and more importantly, when she showed up it was noticeable that she had a lot of baby sitting experience. She knew to ask the right questions, acclimated with the children very quick and kept us updated through texts.  I will definitely reach out to Maria for her help when I'm back in the area. She was amazing!

Maria (Dalia) came to watch my 5.5 month old and my sister's 2.5 year old and 3 month old for a couple days when we were in town for a family wedding, and she was such a gift to weekend. She was warm, responsible, on time, relaxed and the kids immediately took to her calm energy. She reassured us throughout the weekend that the kids were in good hands and kept us updated that things at the house were going well, which meant we could enjoy our weekend away. She clearly has a lot of experience with babies and toddlers and loves children! Would highly recommend her to any family in the area in need of a warm, responsible babysitter!!

We met Dalia in April 2020 when we were in a bind with childcare for our 14 month son.  Dalia came to the rescue! When she came to meet our son, she had an instant connection with him and he was immediately comfortable with her.  She was so sweet and caring with him.  From observing her interactions with him, we could tell how experienced she is with kids and how much she loves them.  She would cuddle him, play with him, read with him and take him on walks around the neighborhood.  When she came over in the mornings, he would reach for her, which he never did with our previous nanny.  You could tell they formed a connection very quickly.  Dalia is such a sweet person and very patient and kind.  We would hire her again in a heartbeat! Highly recommend.

Dalia watched our kids several times a week for over a year. She was great with our 3 kids. She is very trustworthy and dependable and my kids adore and miss her. I had a lot anxiety about returning back to work and not being home with my kids. But once I met Dalia I knew I had nothing to worry about.  She spent quality time with each kid, did art projects with them, would bring special crafts for them according to what they were interested in.  She would get them outside, take them for walks and to the park. My youngest wouldn't even bat an eye when I left for work in the morning as long as she was holding him (and that's saying a lot since he's a very attached little momma's boy). We all thoroughly enjoyed having her in our lives, she's definitely the best baby sitter we've ever employed.
