About Maria

Over these three years, I've had the joy of working with children both professionally and within my own family. My background includes hands-on experience supporting kids on the autism spectrum and with developmental differences, which has given me a deep sense of patience, empathy, and adaptability. I hold a bachelors degree in Recreation Therapy. I'm fluent in both English and Spanish. I'm certified in First Aid and CPR. I'm comfortable caring for all and happy to follow your lead when it comes to routines, household rules, and communication styles. I enjoy active play, board games and educational activities, while also creating a warm, safe, and supportive environment. I'm also able to help with cooking, light housekeeping and traveling. I like working with kids because seeing them experience the world for the first time is amazing and influencing them positively is so rewarding. In my spare time, I like to paddleboard, picnic at the beach, DIY crafts, and building legos.
