About Maria

Maria has worked for our family continuously for the past 3 years, and I couldn’t imagine life without her. She truly is the Venezuelan Mary Poppins. Maria joined our household when my son was 3 months old and, when I found out I was having twin girls, she stayed on with us to take care of the two new babies. She is a mother herself, and it shows - she treats the children she cares for like her own. As a new mom with my son and then navigating twin girls, she has taught me so much as well. She does circle time every day, and I can honestly say my son started preschool ahead of the game because of Maria. Because of Maria, he knew all of his letters, colors, and numbers in English and Spanish before starting PK2. She also helps with mealtime, laundry and cleaning (really ever aspect of the kids’ lives) and basically never stops moving from the time she gets to our house. Our girls are joining are son at the same school, which is the only reason Maria won’t be with us full time. Any family that gets to work with Maria would be lucky - she is the most professional, loving, and inspirational nanny around.
