About Maria

In 2018 I retired from the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection after 29+ years, and I moved to Austin, TX. While at the NJDEP I attended 40 hour Health and Safety training with yearly refreshers for 20+years. I moved back to New Jersey in December, 2024. I am a parent of a school teacher and a Rutgers University graduate, and I was Host parent to 9 various International high school students ages 15+ throughout the school year from 2014 to 2018. I am proficient as a confidante, disciplinarian, chef, chauffeur, gardener etc. I am a foodie and I love to teach green gardening/eco friendly gardening to children and adults alike. Presently I am working part-time with domestic and farm animals. I have cared for small and extra large breeds of dog since 2019. I have experience with infants, twins, anger management issues, ABA Therapy and children on the spectrum. References available upon request. I look forward to meeting you and your family!!
