About Maria

Hello! I am Maria, an English teacher in Pawtucket, Rhode Island. I currently teach 7th grade English, but have experience and working in all grade level levels. This is my 13th year and education and my students know me as a proud nerdy teacher. I push my students to do their best work while also helping them overcome challenges such as focus from ADHD or just general struggles with reading comprehension. Other skills can be worked on such as elementary school level math, all grade level, science and social studies, and even studies skills. I like to create lessons that are custom designed for each student. I am currently looking for families to work with over the summer to help prevent their kids from getting into a summer slump. If you have any questions or interested in having me work with you, please message me. I am also interested and have experience in childcare care if needed.
