Hello, my name is Maria and I am 52 years of age, I am a very responsible nanny with extensive experience caring for infants and toddlers. I have been working as a nanny for many years (about 26 years) and have always started with families when the babies where around 4-6 months old. I am loving, patient, creative, and very good at helping children figure out solutions and I know how to make life fun for them. Also since my nationality is Hispanic I can also teach them another language which is very great and helpful for the on-going life later on. I am big on taking children to be outdoors to explore nature, museums, play dates with other nanny's and more. I always find a way to keep them engage into something physically and mentally. right now I have a nanny job but the kids I take care of have grown and will start going to school in September, which means I wouldn't be needed as much. So which is why I am looking for a new nanny position, 4 days a week from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Marcia, has been part of our family for the past 4 1/2 years. We are so sad to see her go but our daughter is going to school. She is has always been loving, engaging and a wonderful caregiver to my children. She is always on time even dealing with a long DC commute and always flexible when last minute plans change. Most importantly she had cared for the kids just like one of her own, loving them, teaching them and doing what's best for their growth. Maria will always be a part of our family and her new family will be very fortunate.
