About Maria

Maria Laura first came to live and work with our family through an au pair program and stayed on with us afterward. As any parent can imagine, having someone live in your home and help care for your children requires an enormous amount of trust, communication, patience, and skill — and Maria Laura exceeded our expectations in every way. She worked with our four children, including two children with autism, and handled a wide variety of responsibilities with compassion, maturity, and consistency. She assisted not only with childcare, but also with helping the children stay organized and supported in their daily routines. In addition, she helped keep the home clean and organized, did laundry, assisted with meal preparation, grocery shopping, and transportation. Maria Laura is extremely trustworthy, dependable, punctual, and responsible. She is calm under pressure, competent behind the wheel, and wonderful with children. She became an important part of our family, and we truly felt blessed to have her with us for so long. I recommend her wholeheartedly to any future family.
