About Maria

Maria is outstanding! She worked as a nanny for our family for about a year and a half before graduating from her master’s program and moving back home to Santa Barbara. She created a very special bond with our 2 year old daughter while she was here. Maria is kind, very patient, very imaginative, very intelligent, and was so very engaging with our daughter. The two of them did educational activities, arts and crafts, sensory activities, outdoor playtime that was always safe and fun, as well as played make believe, had regular tea parties and fostered our daughter’s imagination in every way. These are just a few of the activities they did together. Everyday, Maria was fully engaged in enriching playtime with our daughter and she took every opportunity to incorporate learning into their activities. She helped with emotional regulation and her ability to communicate and really connect with kids is incredible. She is extremely dependable and totally trustworthy. I absolutely recommend Maria to anyone looking for a caregiver that will truly create an enriching environment.
