Thank you for your interest in my profile! Working with children and families has been a life long pleasure of mine. My husband and I have a wonderful 9-year-old son, heading into 5th grade. I am CPR/First Aid Certified, fingerprinted/background check, clean driving record and have my own transportation. My experiences include, but not limited to, the following: -17 years working (administrative) providing coordination for children under 5 with developmental delays. -teaching nursery school abroad -proving supervision for elementary aged children I believe that children need to explore in order to understand the world around them. Being able to provide a comforting and safe environment continues to be my goal. She is such an amazing lady. She watched my son when we just moved in CT. She treated my son as if he was her own and provided him with a lot of love. My son enjoyed the time with her so much, too. My son is slow starter in terms of learning words, but he became to be able to recognize and say colors in less than 2 weeks while he was with Maria!! I will definitely hire her again when I need help from her.
