I love working for seniors! There is something special about caring for them at a time where they can be sensitive, mentally weak and physically challenged. To be fully trusted and grow a life changing bond is when work doesn't seem to feel like work, it feels like you are at home away from home. The client and caregiver become like family. Being with each other doesn't become a chore, its a blessing. I have a lot of experience dealing with dementia clients, two clients at once, transferring, grooming, preparing and administering of pills, light housekeeping, shopping, feeding, cooking and most of all, making the client feel comfortable at their age.
