About Margie

I am the mother of two, well-nurtured teens. As well, I worked in Montessori education with children ranging in ages from two and a half to 12 years of age. I have six years experience as a lead Montessori teacher and three years as a classroom assistant, both state-side and abroad in Munich, Germany. I do speak German and a bit of French. I love being with children, am very observant and keen to the different stages and sensitive periods of human development. I have a wealth of songs to sing, crafts to work, understand the importance of outdoor time and keeping a child on regular schedule. I received my Bachelors in Communications from UM-St. Louis in 1993 and was certified by the Montessori Institute of Milwaukee to teach AMI Montessori Elementary and Primary Education in 2007. In my spare time I love to play tennis with my children, workout with my longtime girlfriends, and garden. I currently nanny two young children. One of which works through mild autism.
