About Margie

April 15, 2026 To Whom it May Concern, I am writing this letter of recommendation for Margie. Margie was my daughter’s nanny from February 2011, when my daughter was six weeks old, until COVID hit in March 2020. I am a single-mom-by-choice, worked full time running a business, and my parents died before Lily was born. I was all alone and Margie was indispensable to me. Margie is the most kind and loving person. She is extremely responsible and attentive. She took incredible care of my daughter and treated her as her own. Strangers would stop me on the street to compliment her. Margie read books to Lily, encouraged her growth, took her on playdates and activities, took her to the park and on adventures. She supervised homework, rocked her to sleep, helped me make homemade baby food and more. It was the greatest gift to come home to the two of them, laughing, dancing, or reading. Most importantly, when I was working, I knew that Lily was safe and that she was loved. I think that’s all a parent wants, to know that their child is taken care of and thriving while they work.
