About Margaux

Hello! My name is Margaux, and I'm an undergraduate student in the Bryn Mawr area. I love spending time with kids while ensuring they are well taken care of. I have 3 years of experience in childcare from my position as an overnight camp counselor and outdoor guide. I was responsible for the care of up to 10 kids, aged 8-17, while leading them on multi-day camping trips. I led engaging activities, and got to know each camper personally. This required a lot of flexibility, quick thinking, and adapting when things didnt go as planned. I also have past experience as a swim instructor, where I used games and creative approaches to get kids (ages 1-12) excited to learn and comfortable in the water. I'm CPR and first aid certified, I also have a Lifeguard certification and Wilderness First Responder certification. In my free time I enjoy trying new restaurants, going to concerts, and working out! At home, I also spend time taking care of my dog Ziggy.
