About Margaret

Hi! My name is Mags and I live in Somerville. I had the honor of supporting my grandmother through periods of health issues and in the final stages of her life, and find inter generational relationships to be nourishing for everyone involved! I am compassionate, love to listen to stories and to learn about people's lives. I believe strongly that people of all ages deserve dignity and respect, and take this seriously with elder care, especially around bodily autonomy. I enjoy cooking, am a tidy person and willing to do light house work, and generally love to sit and chat with a cup of tea. I would love to meet you! I'd describe my personality as patient, curious, encouraging. I love building relationships with folks based on dignity, a shared respect, and genuine care. In my spare time, I like to cook, sing, play the banjo, walk my dog, spend time with friends, and be outside! I believe in direct and compassionate communication.
