I have worked all my life with the elderly. This is a job that I love. These folks sometimes can be fragile, vulnerable, and need a lot of love and care and understanding. This is what I provide. I have been a pet owner all my life. I have two inside cats right now, and one outside cat. We love them and cherish them. In any nursing situation I have been in with families, there have always been pets there as well. I have taken care of the pet right along with the elderly patients, sometimes they got better care from me than their owners. The only thing I can say here is, if I am in charge of anyone's pet, it will be cared for and loved just like it was my own pet.
