I have loved elderly people since I was a child. I am now elderly myself but young enough to care for those in need. I just finished 12 years of caretaking for both of my parents -- mom with dementia and dad with Parkinsons and on hospice for 5 years. I did this full time (I quit my FT job of 35 yrs) and they both died in their own home - THANK GOD! I would like to continue helping elderly people in my neighborhood or area, and I love animals as well (which I believe are a gift to all of us).
